They are among my favorite subjects to paint because they are so beautiful. It is an easy painting for beginners. I have painted it with acrylics and it shows the beauty of bougainvillea flowers.

The painting was created on acid-proof A5 paper. It is inspired by the colorful floral arcade across the street. A blue door and purple bougainvilleas create an ambiance of tranquility and happiness.

Printed out on paper or canvas, you can trace it over the surface. For tracing, you will need carbon paper.

I started by defining the wall around the door using a palette knife dab a bit over it.  By doing this, I will be able to give my walls a nice texture painting. It is okay if you see pencil marks on the painting, they are completely removed after the painting is completed.

I chose grey for the shedding because it will make this drawing appear brighter and clearer.

Here I have painted the door for that, I have used Cobalt Teal, Turquoise Green, Prussian Blue, Black.

Now I have applied some shading over the door.

Honestly, this is a very simple painting. Here I have used cotton swabs, to create leaves, and to highlight the leaves I have used Lemon Yellow and for the shadow, I have used Prussian Blue and Viridian Hue.

For the bougainvillea flowers, I applied the Permanent Rose, Medium Magenta, Deep Magenta by mostly using the round no.2, no.4 brushes.  I dab on spots and leave spaces between.
